Florida has one of the most active surf communities in the U.S.—if not the world. It also has some of the most inconsistent waves. Long flat spells are part of the culture. They’re also a limitation—on access, progression, and time in the water.
Surf park concepts have teased Florida surfers for years.
The Point Surf Park in Fellsmere is changes that.
Florida’s First Surf Park – Why Here?
Located on a 10.5-acre site in Fellsmere, Indian River County—just inland from Sebastian Inlet—The Point Surf Park sits within one of Florida’s most established surf regions. Positioned between the Treasure Coast and Space Coast, it draws from a large, active surf community, along with steady year-round visitors and families within driving distance across the state.
Within a few hours, surfers from Orlando, Miami, and Tampa can all access the site—adding to an already strong local base.
The project is designed to stand on its own as a dedicated surf park—a year-round destination that brings consistent traffic, jobs, and long-term economic activity to the area.
World Class Waves: Consistent & Built For High Demand
At The Point, swell consistency is engineered.
Florida’s surf culture is defined by inconsistency. Long flat spells and short swell windows limit time in the water and slow progression. Endless Surf’s ES36 pneumatic wave technology is designed to remove that variable and cater to everyone from next generations pros to families and beginners.
Using air pressure, the system generates waves with precision and repeatability—controlling shape, size, speed, and interval. Waves run on a schedule, independent of East Coast swell. Wave profiles are fully customizable. Operators can adjust settings throughout the day—shifting from learn-to-surf sessions to high-performance waves, training, and events—without changing infrastructure.
That flexibility allows the lagoon to handle volume: high throughput, steady flow, and consistent wave quality under demand.
The result is a system that delivers premium waves with reliability—giving surfers more time in the water, and operators a platform that performs day in and day out.
For Floridians, it won’t replace the ocean—but it provides the consistency needed to keep surfing and progressing.
Built by Surfers for Surfers
The Point reflects a focused approach to surf park development—built around surfing as the primary use, not an amenity.
The project is being shaped by surfers for surfers and is designed to meet the expectations of a core surf community: reliable waves, repeat sessions, and a layout that prioritizes time in the water and fostered meaning surf culture connections.
Similar to our pure-play surf park project at O2 SURFTOWN MUC in Germany, this will be another example of how Endless Surf anchors and delivers for a dedicated surf park, from day-to-day operations to long-term viability.
